Betty Roberts has been making spinning wheels for over 25 years. I saw her for the first time at the Washinton State Centennial Celebration in 1989. This woman does incredible work! She has been honored twice by the Folk Life Society, and is one of 12 women in the state to win the Governor's Art award. Her wheels are hard to find, should be treated like national treasures and I own one!
